Position: Tax Partner
We are recruiting an experienced tax partner to head our tax services.
Key responsibilities
As head of tax services, your key responsibilities shall include, but not be limited, to the following:
- Drive the firm tax services strategy and work closely with fellow partners and team members in the execution of the whole firm strategy.
- Lead the tax services team in offering pro-active and value adding tax compliance, tax planning, transfer pricing and tax advisory services.
- Maintain and build excellent client and team relations.
- Take a lead role in business development activities.
- Mentor, train and grow the team.
- Actively represent the firm in local and international forums.
- Offer thought leadership and also disseminate relevant tax information and updates through webinars, events and other related materials.
- Maintain excellent client and team communication.
Qualifications and skills
- Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Tax Administration, Accounting or Finance.
- CPA (Kenya) finalist or ACCA or other relevant professional certification.
- Member of ICPAK.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in public accounting, tax advisory, compliance and related services five of which must be in a senior management role.
- Sound understanding of the Kenya tax landscape.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to grow relations and develop business.
- A team player with strong management and leadership skills
- Integrity and a commitment to quality, excellence and continuous growth for self and team.
