Michael Kimani, Founder and Managing Partner is handing over the reins of the firm to Daniel Muhia effective 1st August 2021. Michael transitions to the MGK Foundation, which is focused on development of practical entrepreneurial skills in Kenya, but remains as a partner in the firm.

Michael says; “It has been a phenomenal and fulfilling journey building and growing the firm over the last 22 years. Every founder, however, must at some point hand over the baton and for me; that time is now!”

Michael continues; “Daniel joined the firm 21 years ago and has been the Audit Partner for the last 11 years. We have worked closely together preparing the foundation for the firm’s long-term growth. I’m therefore confident that he is well poised to take the firm to the next level while preserving and strengthening our Client Service Excellence culture”.

Daniel says; “Under Michael’s leadership, MGK has been transformed to a modern audit and consulting firm with a special focus on client service, teamwork, quality and adoption and integration of technology in our methodologies and processes. I look forward to building upon this by working with the MGK team, our clients and other stakeholders to deliver on the promises that we commit to our clients and the community in the ever changing business environment”.
